Overview
Golf Tracker calculates and maintains your official World Handicap System index so you can post rounds, watch your handicap move, and play competitive matches with friends. Courses you play are managed by you — add a new course in seconds and it’s ready for your next round.
Built by golfers who got tired of paper scorecards and clunky club apps, Golf Tracker keeps the post-round bookkeeping fast and the social side fun.
What it does
- Official WHS handicap index — calculated using current World Handicap System formulas, updated after every round.
- User-managed course list — a starter set of Baton Rouge-area courses is included. You can add new courses, edit existing ones, or delete any course at any time — tee boxes, slope, and rating are all editable so your differentials stay correct.
- Final-score entry — enter your total score for the round (not hole-by-hole). Adjusted gross score is calculated for you so your handicap index stays accurate.
- Social Score Tracking — share scores and handicaps within user-created groups (weekend foursome, league, club, family) without making anything public.
- Group rounds & leaderboards — play matches with friends, see standings, and settle the bets honestly.
- Round history — see every round you’ve posted and watch your index move over time.
Social, not public
Social Score Tracking is opt-in and group-scoped. You see the scores of people in groups you joined or created — nothing more. We don’t publish public leaderboards, sell scores to handicap services, or share data with advertisers. You can leave a group at any time.
Privacy & data
Scores, handicap data, and group memberships are stored securely via Supabase. You can export your full round history or permanently delete it — or just your golf history while keeping the rest of your account — via our data deletion portal. Full details in the Privacy Policy.
